Asmita participated in the "Reverse Science Fair" - a STEM outreach event where scientists present their research to middle school students who, in turn, judge the scientists.

Congratulations to Drew for winning the DOE SCGSR fellowship! This award allows him to advance his PhD thesis research while working with us at LBNL.

Qian gave an invited talk @  ENGE 2024  about the development of Digital Twin (read more Here) and Real-space KS-DFT (read more Here, Here, and an application in using real-space KS-DFT to study nanodroplet Here) in Jeju, South Korea.

Qian gave an invited talk @ GRC Computational Chemistry 2024 titled "Digital Twin & Real-space KS-DFT". The Digital Twin preprint covered in this talk is now available on ChemRxiv!

And of course, there's lobster!🦞

Qian gave two talks @ ACS Spring 2024 - the first talk "Digital Twin & Real-space KS-DFT" focuses on method development; the second talk "Carbon Capture, Conversion & One-pot Solution" focuses on the applicational aspects of fundamental renewable energy science.

Congratulations to Asmita being selected as one of the 12 finalists in 2023 Berkeley Lab SLAM! She made a fabulous 3-min speech on One-pot Carbon Capture and Conversion Solution. See her video (Here), and read more about this work (Here).
